Hefner?

I will admit I know very little about Hefner other than that I've had periods of obsession with the two songs below. I just don't understand how I could love these so much and then not even be able to get through any other entire song of theirs. At first I wanted to think that there were two Hefners, a brilliant electro-pop Hefner and another unmemorable band who happened to have the same name, but no. These songs are from The Hefner Brain ep released in 2002, apparently their most recent, although I learned from their website that side projects and a Best Of are upcoming. If only all of it was like these.
