Jenny Wilson

When I first came across the video for Jenny Wilson's "Summertime - The Roughest Time" it entirely fascinated me. Her label in Sweden, Rabid Records, says she is influenced by Kate Bush, Missy Elliott, and Grace Jones. What a combination. Her voice is piercing (in a good way) and she's got serious enough moments to make the really catchy moments good. Like the chorus of "Love Ain't Just A Four Letter Word" which is one of my faves from the recent Love and Youth.
