and then away

Jose Gonzalez' cover of The Knife's "Heartbeats" is old old news, but it wasn't until a few weeks ago that I saw the Sony Bravia ad in which it was featured. Figuring that ad was old news too, I wasn't going to mention it, but I can't get it out of my head so I have no choice. Many of us don't live in places where this ad runs--we never get the good commercials in America (thank goodness for dvr and the ability to fast forward through all the bad ones). So if you haven't seen this yet, you must must must. And keep in mind that it's real, no cgi. The combination of the song with the visuals absolutly kills me. I can't cleverly describe how much I freaked out over this so just watch it. here.

And then there's this version done for Tango (another product unfamiliar to the Americans). Pretty funny.

And finally.
