First, The Raconteurs website is up!

Behind the old school interface that makes you think you're about to play Oregon Trail you can stream "Steady As She Goes" and "Store Bought Bones". It's great stuff, obvs. It sounds like what you might expect the combination of Jack/Brendan/The Greenhornes to sound like, maybe a little more intense. The single is out today in Europe but it won't be until March 7 in the U.S.


And I found the Lacquer website I had previously lost:

No recent info, but go there and watch the "Behind" video, in which a seven day road trip from LA to NYC is condensed to four minutes, that Germ so kindly reminded us existed. Michel Gondry and his brother Olivier directed it, and it certianly shows off the Gondry ability to turn the ordinary into the exquisite.
