The Legends

The song I've had on repeat for the day is The Legends' aptly titled "Play It For Today", from their most recent single. The Legends are Swedish (of course) and on Labrador (of course) so I'm obligated to like em. For this particular song, an easy comparison is to Pet Shop Boys, as far as the beats and distant sounding vocals. Elsewhere they're more of the hand-clap genre. Or there's the label's description of another recent single "Hide Away" as " arena rock transformed to gothic twee." Awesome.
